Eco-Friendly Toy Box

My son plays with his toys all through the house, and the people I live with have two boys who do the same who are much older though. I am constantly running back and forth cleaing up the mess let alone trying to keep a CLOSE eye on my little one. So I had came up with an idea for all the scattered toys, I thought hmmm if only there was a living room toy box. I walked out to the garage where ton's of boxes are and found a great sized one. I looked at the box and though eh lookes so boring and uncolorful so I looked at the wrapping paper I had on hand. I got some large packing tape and some scotch tape.
I first took the packing tape and taped down the lid flaps and then I wraped the wrapping paper around to messure, cut it and began taping the wrapping paper on the box.
 YAY An eco-friendly toy box!

Everything fits perfectly! My son now takes his Mega-Blocks and puts them in the boxs from his wagon!

the little things that bring BIG joys

This moring I woke up to "breakfast" that my son brought me. It was the cutest thing! He brought me a strawberry and peas! hehehe
For his birthday I got him a play kitchen and some play food with a small plastic grocery basket to put them in. He is usally at his kitchen first thing in the morning. This morning his special was Pea's with a Strawberry!

Trash to Tresure!

Back in May I had gone to a thrift store and found this old shelf. I was thinking "I could restore this!" so I bought it.
I finally got around to sand it down,or sanding it down I should say,I'm hand-sanding it.  So far its going quite well!
